Boost your project with Exxelia film capacitors with reduced delivery times!

Delivery times can be a critical factor in the development of your electronic projects. That's why at Exxelia we're looking to reduce our component lead times, and have good news for some of our film capacitor families.

We are pleased to announce that certain products in our RA and KM film capacitor series, as well as our special PMR range (for the medical and railway markets), now benefit from reduced delivery times.

Reduced lead times for film capacitors of the RA (Polypropylene PP) and KM (Polyphenylene sulfide PPS) families:

Indeed, delivery times for film capacitors in the RA and KM ranges have been considerably reduced. Previously, these products had an average lead time of 20 weeks, but through efforts to optimize our supply chain, we have managed to reduce this lead time to just 8 weeks on average!

One of the key product of this range is the KM 111 S/T. This high performance film capacitor is ideal for a wide range of applications, such as power electronics, filters, inverters. The KM 111 S/T provides the precise capacitance value needed for special aviation electromechanical applications. With its high operating voltage and high energy density, the KM 111 S/T offers outstanding performance. And now, with a lead time reduced to just 8 weeks, you can incorporate it into your designs faster, accelerating your product development.

A revolution in delivery times with the film capacitors of the PMR (Polyphenylene Sulfide PPS) family:

Our special PMR range, designed for medical and railway applications, also saw a significant improvement in its delivery times. In some cases, we have been able to reduce the usual delivery times for these specific products by a factor of 10. This means you can now get the PMR range film capacitors you need in record time!

Film capacitors in the PMR range are specifically designed to meet the stringent requirements of medical and railway applications. Their reliability, stability, and extended life make them ideal choices for medical equipment, monitoring devices, rail transportation systems, and more. Thanks to our reduced delivery times, you can now benefit from these advantages without waiting long to receive your products.

Exxelia Ohmcraft’s Small, Low-Noise Resistors Maximize Design Options and Accuracy for Sensor Manufacturers

For more than 25 years, leading sensor manufacturers have turned to Exxelia Ohmcraft to provide small-form-factor, ultra-low-noise surface mount resistors to be used in a variety of critical sensor applications. In these applications, Exxelia Ohmcraft’s resistors enable designers to miniaturize the sensor’s footprint or accommodate multiple sensors in close proximity to each other—all while increasing accuracy of the end products. Resistors have a certain amount of electrical noise that is inherent in their construction, and the higher the noise, the more distorted the signal can become. Exxelia Ohmcraft’s high-resistance, low-noise chip resistors provide clearer signals to the sensor electronics, thereby improving their accuracy. To ensure requirements are met for specialty sensors such as those used to measure acceleration, velocity, or vibration, Exxelia Ohmcraft works closely with design engineers, who appreciate the combination of high performance, reliability, and small form factor that the company can provide. “Finding resistors that check all of these boxes can be a challenge for sensor designers. At Exxelia Ohmcraft, our understanding of these requirements allows us to provide the highest performing solution at the lowest possible cost,” said Eric Van Wormer, Vice President of Exxelia Ohmcraft. "In sensor electronics, it can be difficult to distinguish the signal one is trying to measure from the noise of the surrounding environment, but our low-noise resistors ensure that the signal quality is maximized.” Exxelia Ohmcraft’s technology utilizes the proprietary Micropen electronic printing system to “print” precise, narrow, serpentine lines with resistive ink on a ceramic substrate, producing higher performance resistors over a wider range of values on a smaller surface area than is possible with conventional film resistor technology.
