Exxelia va intégrer un cobot dans son processus de fabrication

Ces derniers jours, l'intelligence artificielle est au cœur de l'actualité, et prochainement dans les ateliers de production d'Exxelia, avec l'intégration de la technologie liée aux cobots.

Exxelia vient de s'équiper d'un cobot (en partenariat avec la société Cognitive Engines) adapté au besoin de production liée à la fabrication des condensateurs RF High Q.

Le cobot est un robot collaboratif conçu pour travailler main dans la main avec les opérateurs. Cette technologie couplée à de l’intelligence artificielle (I.A) offre une multitude d'avantages notamment :

 

  1. Amélioration de la qualité : Les cobots sont dotés de capteurs haute performance et de systèmes de contrôle de la qualité intégrés, ce qui permet une inspection visuelle poussée à 100 %, et garantit un haut niveau de qualité, tout en s'adaptant aux mouvements des opérateurs (pas de risque lié à la sécurité au travail). 
  2. Flexibilité : Les cobots sont légers et adaptables. Cette polyvalence leur permet d’occuper différents postes en fonction des besoins du moment.
  3. Sécurité : Les cobots sont conçus pour être utilisés en binôme avec les opérateurs Exxelia et peuvent donc les protéger des tâches dangereuses ou pénibles, ce qui améliore grandement la qualité de vie au travail (diminution des gestes répétitifs ; impact positif sur les troubles musculo-squelettiques).
  4. Optimisation du temps opérateur : Les cobots s’occupent des tâches à faible valeur ajoutée et laisse l’opérateur se concentrer sur les tâches à forte valeur ajoutée, ce qui valorise la contribution des opérateurs / opératrices.

MIL 39006-Qualified Wet Tantalum Capacitors

Exxelia has received the M-Level (1.0%/1000h) MIL-PRF-39006/22 and MIL-PRF-39006/25 qualifications approval for its new ranges of wet tantalum capacitors. MIL 39006/22 and MIL 39006/25 respectively equivalent to CLR79 and CLR81 types feature hermetically sealed cylindrical tantalum cases and axial leads. Both ranges are available in all cases:  T1, T2 T3 and T4 with extended capacitance and voltage ratings. MIL39006/22 is qualified for voltages from 6V to 125V and provides from 1200µF @ 6V to 56 µF @ 125V. MIL 39006/25 is qualified for voltages from 25V to 125V and provides from 680µF @ 25V to 82 µF @ 125V. Both ranges combine high energy density with large temperature ranges -55°C up to 125°C and are available with H vibration and shocks features. These state-of-art MIL-qualified wet tantalum capacitors are widely used in avionics applications where high performance and extreme reliability are required. Performance highlights compared to solid tantalum capacitors include more capacitance, higher ripple currents, lower ESR and lower dc-leakage current. “These new ranges introduction leverages our decades of experience in providing high-reliability capacitors for the Military market, and proves Exxelia’s ability to reach the most demanding specifications in terms of product development”, states Exxelia Sales & Marketing VP, Jérôme Tabourel, “We are proud to be part of the few MIL-qualified manufacturers of tantalum capacitors, our flexibility and advantageous lead times will bring new supply perspectives.”  MIL39006/22 and MIL39006/25 are available for order now.          

New Plug&Play filters for datacenters and mission critical facilities

Electronic equipment can leak sensitive information over conducted or radiated electromagnetic emanations, and signals transmitted down unprotected lines can potentially be intercepted. That’s why filters are implemented into systems to prevent EMI disturbances, as TEMPEST filters stop the high frequency EM signals (or noise) emanating inside the secured environment. Thanks to this in-depth knowledge, Exxelia came to the conclusion that the installation of a product is as critical as its reliability, especially when shielding continuity and sensitive copper terminals are involved. That’s where Exxelia’s new full range of TEMPEST pluggable filters will save time and spare headaches! The 9260W series is a multi-socket line extension with a built-in 16A Tempest filter (minimum 60dB, from 100KHz to 1GHz), CE qualified according to EM 60950-1 standard. 9260W series Plug&Play solution is available with UK, US and EU standard plugs and can be provided with any other standard plug upon request. In addition, Exxelia completed its offer with the 9259W series of pluggable filters featuring various plug interfaces such as VGA/DVI, USB, Ethernet, Phone, Audio and much more. 9260W series and 9259W series are both fully compliant with EMC expectations and allow considerable time saving and cost-effectiveness. When a standard filter needs to be wired and shielded to each socket one-by-one before carefully re-closing the whole equipment, Exxelia new series can be installed using no special tools and with a smaller footprint. To all people handling sensitive information, a simple plugging operation is now enough to protect their data. Available now, 9259W and 9260W series are fully customizable upon request.
